SUSPENSION OF THE WORKDAY ON JANUARY 2, 2026

The President of the Republic, Daniel Noboa Azín, through Executive Decree No. 249, dated December 17, 2025, ordered the suspension of the workday on Friday, January 2, 2026, for both the public and private sectors nationwide. This measure aims to incorporate said date into the national holiday New Year's holiday (January 1), which will now extend from January 1 to 4, 2026.

The workday on January 2, 2026, will not be recoverable.
